Tetra Tech Retains Gold Award under the MoD Employer Recognition Scheme

Tetra Tech has retained its Gold Standard under the Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition scheme and was presented with it’s renewal Award by the Reserve Forces and Cadets Association (RFCA).  The award was presented to Andrew Fotherby (Managing Director – Project & Cost Management, and Defence Sector Lead) at Tetra Tech’s headquarters in Leeds.

The Gold award recognises organisations that have signed up to the Military Covenant and gone above and beyond in their advocacy for those who serve in the Armed Forces, veterans, and their families. It was originally awarded to Tetra Tech (then WYG) in 2018 but recipients must reapply after 5 years to demonstrate their continued commitment.

Speaking about the award Andrew commented ‘This validation of the ongoing support we provide to the Armed Forces, including our Reservists is something we are very proud of at Tetra Tech. We recognise the value that Service leavers and Reservists bring to the Company and will continue to support the Armed Forces Community in whatever ways we can.’

Alongside the important skills and experience they bring from their military roles we also recognise some of the challenges that the Armed Forces Community can face when they become part of the commercial world. That is why we have recently developed our Armed Forces Pathway outlining everything we have in place to support those who join our organisation.

From partnering with Career Transition Partnership (CTP) promoting the recruitment of Service leavers, to supporting Armed Forces charities as part of our corporate social responsibility calendar we look forward to further upholding our commitment as a signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant. Our doors are also open to peers and supply chain partners who want to know more about the Armed Forces Covenant and how they can get involved.
