Tetra Tech peers awarded IAM Certificate

Hearty congratulations to three of our colleagues within Surveying & Asset Management who have recently achieved the Institute for Asset Management (IAM) Certificate.

The certificate was awarded earlier in the fall to Matthew Bragg and Satnam Singh, both Associates, as well as Tim Lycett, Director, FM Consultancy.

Tetra Tech Director Steven Little commented on his colleagues’ achievement: “As we look to become influencers within the asset management sector, it’s great to see our colleagues’ individual knowledge and skills recognised. It’s an invaluable qualification to have for gaining credibility in the marketplace and demonstrating an understanding of the principles of asset management standards like the ISO 55000.”

The Institute of Asset Management seeks to ensure the widespread understanding of asset management and value of good practice for society. They promote a considered approach to achieving long-term value from physical assets in every organisation, whether they are large or small, private, governmental, or non-profit.

Matthew also commented on attaining the certificate: “With this certificate, the IAM has measured us against national and international standards. The qualification enhances our strength in our application to the IAM Endorsed Assessors Scheme – a status that will permit us to audit organisations’ asset management operations against international standards and best practice.
