SRC’s Armagh Campus wins NEC Client of the Year award

Southern Regional College has been awarded Client of the Year 2018 at the NEC Awards for its £35m development of the Armagh Campus in Northern Ireland. The awards coincided with NEC’s 25th anniversary and were held at the etc.venues County Hall in London on 20th June.

The NEC Awards recognise excellence in project delivery and showcase examples of good practice through collaboration from across the world. The Client of the Year award, specifically, recognises client organisations that have achieved best practice collaboration on their NEC project.

Armagh Campus works are expected to finish in 2020, and we’re proud of the multidisciplinary services our teams at Tetra Tech are providing, from project management and engineering, to planning, acoustics and BIM Information Manager.

Darren Price, Project Manager at Tetra Tech, said: “Securing this award underscores our team’s partnering approach to delivering the project, as well as the innovation we have brought with our service delivery. We instilled a collaborative ethic in our work with the client and contractor, which I believe the NEC judging panel recognised in our application.”
