MOD Gold Award for Tetra Tech

The Ministry of Defence has officially awarded Tetra Tech a Gold Award under its Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS). The award was handed to our CEO Douglas McCormick at the Armed Forces Covenant Gold Awards Ceremony in Lancaster House, London on 12th November.

The award recognises organisations that have signed up to the Covenant and gone above and beyond in their advocacy for those who serve in the Armed Forces, veterans, and their families. Only 129 organisations currently hold the distinction in the UK among the 2,000 organisations that have signed up to the Covenant.

Joined by senior MOD representatives and Members of Parliament, the awards were presented by the Secretary of State for Defence, the Right Honourable Gavin Williamson CBE MP, and Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex.

Securing the award is a major validation of the support we provide to the Armed Forces, including our Reservists. At Tetra Tech, we recognise the value that Service leavers and Reservists bring to the Company and are committed to supporting them. More importantly, the ERS Gold Award doesn’t mark the end of that commitment, but the beginning.

As part of our commitment to the Covenant, we’ve been proud to support activities like the Career Transition Partnership (CTP) to promote the recruitment of Service leavers and we have a strong framework in place to enable serving reservists to undertake ongoing training and operational deployment. Support for Armed Forces charities also plays a big part in our corporate social responsibility calendar.
