IAM names Tetra Tech Endorsed Assessor

The Institute of Asset Management (IAM) has named Tetra Tech an Endorsed Assessor. With this accreditation, our team has taken an important step toward instilling our clients with confidence in the reliability and expertise of our asset management services.

Under the IAM Endorsed Assessor Scheme, accredited firms audit and asses other organisations’ asset management systems and operations against ISO standards, which provide guidance on implementing, maintaining, and improving an effective asset management system.

While any organisation can implement its own asset management systems, the independent assessment of conformance through an Endorsed Assessor ensures the benefits of asset management are realised. These include greater cost effectiveness for key stakeholders, better understanding of risk, fewer unwanted surprises, greater clarity for long-term investment planning, improved credibility with financial ratings agencies and reduced interest rate obligations, as well as fulfilling seven of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Steven Little, Director at Tetra Tech, said: “A big part of an organisation having a good asset management operation is securing confidence from investors and putting their minds at rest for investment decision-making, creating savings and value. From a project perspective, you can apply these sorts of practices and techniques to the existing service offering.”

Craig Hatch, Managing Director at Tetra Tech, said: “Many of the people we work with either operate asset management systems or aspire to introduce one. Holding the IAM Endorsed Assessor status means we can provide the expert support to guide them in the right direction, creating road maps to achieve the standard.”

At Tetra Tech, we are proud of the strides our Asset Management specialists have taken to raise our organisation’s profile in the best practice asset management market. The accreditation marks another success in a list of recent milestones for the team.

Just recently, we secured Runner Up for Project of the Year at the IAM Awards. Earlier last year, one of our next generation leaders delivered a winning pitch at a Pitch & Poster session hosted by IAM NxtGen, and four of our peers achieved the IAM Certificate.

Craig added: “It’s been a great year for our team and there are exciting times still ahead. Securing this accreditation shows our partners and clients that we will do the job correctly and to the right standard.”
