We’re going to DPRTE 2022

On the 5 May 2022 we will be attending DPRTE (Defence Procurement, Research, Technology & Exportability) at the Farnborough International Exhibition centre. Attendees can find us on stand 67, adjacent to the Infrastructure & Estates Knowledge Transfer Zone (sponsored by Tetra Tech) where our team will be available throughout the day demonstrating how we are Leading With Science ® on world-class defence projects solving our clients’ most complex and challenging problems in infrastructure and estates design, major programme delivery, asset management, environment, data analytics, cyber and security.

Since DPRTE 2021 Tetra Tech has gone from strength to strength; growing our team of Defence experts in the UK, including Norman Disney Young, Hoare Lea and Coffey Geotechnics.  We have secured major contracts in Energy and Carbon reduction, advisory services, high security and critical national infrastructure, and US Visiting Forces, and enhanced our service capability in Project Controls, Security Consultancy and VR design.

We look forward to DPRTE 2022 to showcase what comes next for Tetra Tech and our clients

Melissa Fever, BIM Manager at Tetra Tech will be leading a session in the Infrastructure & Estates Knowledge Transfer Zone, (time TBC) where she will be exploring how Tetra Tech is using BIM, technology and data management to enhance the way we deliver projects, focusing on the value of Information Management and the Common Data Environment, debunking the most common misconceptions and showing how future projects will be delivered.

“It has been over 10 years since the industry began its journey towards a digital transformation, and whilst BIM adoption has grown substantially since 2011, there are still many misconceptions around the definition of BIM, and what role it plays for different project stakeholders.  The recent pandemic led to an acceleration in remote working and the need for technology, hitting fast forward on the industry’s digital maturity. There is now growing evidence that benefits of BIM are real, it is a good time to debunk those common misconceptions that still linger today”

Melissa Fever, BIM Manager at Tetra Tech
